At Michelle Egan Photography,
we work in a photojournalistic style, which means that we will be
with you throughout your day, capturing the special moments as they
happen. You will get very thorough coverage of as much of your day
as you wish, from wedding preparations, ceremony, reception, surroundings,
guests, formals, spontaneously-requested shots from anyone who asks,
and of course, LOTS of photos of the two of you!
I and my assistants all have the same attitude…we LOVE photographing
weddings, and being a part of your day. We take great care to give
you photographs that bring out the best in you, and we will capture
many candid, very real, and very precious moments.
We very are professional, very friendly and full of smiles, and you
will enjoy having us with you on your wedding day! We try to be as
unobtrusive as possible, and you will quickly feel comfortable in
front of the camera, so that you can relax and enjoy your day. You

Michelle
really is the best! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable
right away - like we were working with a friend. She was very flexible
with planning, as we were doing most of it from out of town, but also
made sure to spend time on the planning, both in person and via email/phone,
so that all of the detail were taken care of.
On the day of the wedding, I already knew she would be wonderful because
our engagement portrait session had been so fun and the pictures turned
out beautifully. She came to my house for the "before" shots, and
it really did feel like she and her assistant were just part of the
family. At the wedding, she made sure that every important picture
was taken, as well as all the fun details, but the most amazing thing
was that my husband and I hardly noticed we were being photographed
at all. She just blended in seemlessly, which resulted in the natural,
beautiful photos we now have that perfectly capture our perfect day.
We had many amazing vendors that day, but it was Michelle that we
remember the most.

love how I have the option of changing the print to gray tone or sepia

I could not poss-ibly say enough how great she is. Her work speaks
for itself but SHE is amazing! She was soooooo easy to work with,
sweet, and personable but most important to us....she REALLY cared.
You could tell that this was not JUST a job to her. She loves what
she does and she sees the importance of that day.
To answer some of your questions:
We hired her for a full day. I did not want to tell her an exact time
to come because I didn’t want to burn her out. So I told her that
she could just get arrive when she felt comfortable. Well...she called
my fiancé (now husband, obviously) the morning of to get directions
to the house the girls were getting ready at and he mentioned that
he was golfing with friends. What did Michelle and Kim do??? They
went to the golf course!!!! Not discussed prior and no extra money.
It probably ended up being a 12 hour day not including hours of travel
time.
We are very happy with our pictures. TOO happy. We cant decide which
ones to choose.
I would definitely hire Michelle again!!!! I would recommend her with
the HIGHEST regards to anyone...and I am a pretty picky person.
She was great with returning phone calls but I doubt that she could
say the same about me. :o)

“Michelle is great to work with – friendly, very competent, and great
about keeping in touch by email and phone. (I am very much an email
person, and quickly discovered that some vendors had a preference
for either phone or email.) One thing I really appreciated was that
she always offered her help in anything wedding-related (vendor recommendations,
any questions I had, even if they weren’t related to photography).
Her prices are quite affordable, and her packages include a CD of
your negatives in high-res format. She did our engagement portraits
as well, which allowed us to get a sense of her photographic style
and personality. Her strengths appear to be more in photojournalistic
style rather than traditional bridal portraits, but our portraits
turned out well, too. After getting our proofs back, we are thrilled
with the photographs! She and her assistant Kim did a fantastic job
of capturing every part of the day, and we often didn’t even realize
she was there! In addition, we have several people, myself included,
who normally hate getting pictures taken, but we were all very pleased
with our photos. We’ve had so many compliments on the proofs already!
